Bp. Love calls the business session to order on Friday evening.
Bp. Love’s Convention Address and the introduction of special guests.
Credentialing report.
Secretary of the Diocese’s instructions to the Convention.
Proposed Order of Business.
Presidential appointments: Chancellor, and/or Assistant Chancellor(s), Committee to Approve the Minutes, Committee on Convention Resolutions, and tellers.
Nomination and election of Secretary of the Diocese.
Secretarial appointments: Assistant Secretaries.
Nomination and election of Treasurer of the Diocese.
Nomination and election of Assistant Treasurer of the Diocese.
Received resolution(s) presented by title and presidential referral(s).
Deadline for filing main resolutions with the Secretary, except for courtesy resolutions.
Announcements by the Secretary pertaining to names of nominees on pre-filed nominations and nominations from the floor, as follows:
(a) Plurality nominations, as had:
for Cathedral Chapter members, Diocesan Council members, Trustees.
(b) Vote-by-Orders nominations, as had:
for Ecclesiastical Trial Court members, General Convention Provisional Deputies, Standing Committee members
Voting for plurality and Vote-by-Orders nominees begins.
Any reports/reports received by title, as had, of:
(a) The Committee on the Incorporation and Admission of Churches
(b) The Treasurer of the Diocese
(c) The Trustees of the Diocese
(d) The Diocesan Development Fund
(e) The Finance Committee of the Diocese
(f) Any other reports by diocesan committees, commissions, and ministries which are listed in the Journal.
Episcopal appointments, to serve for the ensuing year, as had, of:
(a) Nine members of the Diocesan Development Fund
(b) At least seven members of the Committee on Church Architecture and the Arts
(c) Three clergy members and two lay persons of the Diocesan Review Committee
(d) Other.
Consideration of resolutions at the pleasure of the Chair.
Courtesy resolutions.
Adjournment at the end of the Youth Mass on Sunday.
