A Message From Father Nigel Mumford

Thursday 2/4/2010

Thank you again for all your prayers. They are defiantly working. I have been reading the emails that Beth put out, I have been deeply touched hearing about what went on when I was in a coma. The good news is that I am off the walker and now use a cane. This is such a step forward, if you will pardon the pun!!! I only need oxygen when I sleep and when winded during the day. I have been put on two new medications that is causing a lot of nausea, not nice. I am sleeping well. The four wounds on my torso have healed well but the pressure sore is still unpleasant. I am told by the visiting nurse that it is healing the way it is supposed to.

I started PT at the new medical facility here in Greenwich. They really pushed me on several machines and spent quite a time on the parallel bars working on balance. They had me stand on a sponge and look up... I nearly fell over... a few times. It felt good to be able to do all the exercises given to me to do. All being well and baring no set backs, with the doctors permission, I hope to start work again on March 1st and preach on March 2nd at the 10am healing service. Hope to see you there. felling very nauseous right now... waiting for a phone call from the doc.

Thank you so very much for continued prayer coverage. My lungs still need them. They will be reviewed again in May so I will be on oxygen at least until then. I am told by pulmonary that it will take a year for my lungs to heal!

Please pray for:

1) stamina
2) my lungs
3) pressure sore
4) to sharpen my sword of the Spirit.
5) nausea

God bless you, and thank you, so many have been so kind.

In the healing love of Jesus,

Fr. Nigel+
