Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Ed McNamara, churchwarden of Trinity, Potsdam has accepted the role of "Link Person" (as Bishop Harold says) between the Diocese of Albany and the Diocese of Down and Dromore. Ed is just retiring from Clarkson University and has put himself at the disposal of the Lord for ministry. He is a faithful disciple, reads the Bible each morning for 45 minutes, and has a keen interest in the mission dimension of our relationship. His counterpart in Down and Dromore is Richard Adams.
Printed below is a report on Convention 2005 from the Down and Dromore perspective.
Church of the Saviour, Lebanon Springs, will have a Service of Healing on Wednesday, Aug 10, at 7:30pm with the Rev'd Susan Baker-Borjeson officiating.
Off now to Beaver Cross for the week's closing service with our young people. I ask your continued prayers for healing for Steve Williams who is our head cook.
Sunday at St Peter's Church, Fourth Lake, under the summer leadership of Fr George Greene.
LORD JESUS, have mercy on the whole world, especially those who live without the hope of the Gospel. Raise up men and women as heralds of that Gospel, that people everywhere may come to know and love and serve you to the glory of your holy Name. Amen.
In Christ,
