Update from Bishop Dave on the Third Day of Christmas 2005
Merry Christmas! I hope your Christmas Season is going well, with much prayer, joy, and peace. Some folks have a difficult time with depression this time of year. If that is happening to you, I would recommend Scripture reading, daily worship, and doing fun stuff. If you are seriously depressed, of course, go to Nigel Mumford's healing services and get medical assistance.
Bishop Dan and I thank you for all your prayers, Christmas cards, and gifts. You have truly lifted our spirits.
This Sunday is the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus. It is one of the brightest and happiest days of the Church Year. Hopefully we will all join our sisters and brothers at church to praise the name of Jesus.
For those of you who have been praying for the sale of the old Beaver Cross, thank you. We have signed a Purchase Agreement with a buyer, and should soon move to closing. We are thankful to God for His provision as we exercise good stewardship over the properties and assets He has granted us.
Happy New Year!
